One of the thrusts of
Norkis-Haojue is to enhance every Filipino's mobility, freedom, and
comfort. Norkis-Haojue, together with Petron, was tapped by DZAR of
Sonshine TV-Radio to be one of the partners in their project
entitled: “ActionLine Riders Program” to further provide more
comfort to the Filipinos.
The program aims to
involve approximately 1,000 motorcycle riders all around the
Philippines to become correspondents of the station after they
undergo training by DZAR. The pioneer organization for the project
was the Association of Road Advocates Nurturing Growth through
Knowledge Action Discipline Advance towards Riders Welfare also
known as ARANGKADA.
ARANGKADA is an organization for motorcycle riders in the Philippines
that envisions to serve as a role model of riders' organization
utilizing the riders' experience and knowledge to train, to educate,
and to teach fellow riders regarding proper road usage for safety
based on discipline.
Mr. Edmund Y. Pingkian, Group Managing Head for Haojue Motorcycles,
and Mr. Jon Eric Quisumbing, Managing Head for Haojue Market
Development and Special Events, signed a contract with DZAR Radio's
Station Manager, Mr. Paolo Calzo, for a 1 year partnership for the above-mentioned
project.
Last December 14, 2014, the program was launched at the Bonifacio
Monument, Monumento, Caloocan City. The launching was attended by
representatives from Norkis-Haojue, Petron, DZAR, and ARANGKADA.
Norkis-Haojue sponsored 2 units of Haojue Cool 150 during the
launching's raffle draw and Petron gave away Gas coupons to the
