Haojue Cool 150-Owners Club in the Philippines

Around the Philippines, Haojue Cool 150 Rider Clubs were organized as independent rider clubs to strengthen the ties among different Haojue-owners in an area, and to professionalized motorcycle rider member to be more defensive in riding motorcycle ensuring safety, disciplined and well-secured.


Up to date, three HJ 150 rider clubs are organized with the help of the branch managers and the management. They are HJ Cebu Cool Riders in Cebu, Haojue Pilipinas Riders Club (HPRC) in Cavite, and Haojue-owners Club de Bohol (also known as HOC de Bohol) in Bohol. Each club operates differently from the other, conducting several activties from teambuilding endeavors to get-together road trips.

“The groups are organized to encourage the customers do group outings and touring,” said Mr. Edmund Y. Pingkian, General Managing Head for Norkis-Haojue, adding that they will be aware that there are several other HJ Cool 150 – owners who can bond with them during their activities. 

Organization


The HJ Cool 150 unit was launched on September 2011 by Norkis-Haojue. After 2 years, the management decided to motivate their branch managers to encourage their customers who have bought the unit to create a rider club in their area.

In Bohol, Mr. Fronel Carl Quimno, Sales Manager of Visayas Team 4, initiated the organization of the HOC de Bohol last February 2013. The organization is based in Tabilaran City, Bohol.

In Cavite, the HPRC was organized last February 2013. It was through the efforts of Rusty Francis Macam, Senior Sales Manager of Northern Luzon, that the club was formed. Today, the club's president is Mr. Franco Gavierez.

On the other hand, Cebu also had its own group, HJ Cebu Cool Riders, initiated by Mr. Joe Nel Becios, Managing Head for Visayas and Mindanao. The club was organized when he gathered the owners of the HJ Cool 150 in September 2013 in Mandaue City. The group is now being managed by Mr. Fausto Cabellon.

Mr. Bong Ouano, a former president of the HJ Cebu Cool Riders, said when he was asked about his experience in handling the group.

Recently, the HPRC joined the Norkis-Haojue Motorcycle touring in Laguna-Cavite-Batangas-Quezon with some Norkis-Haojue personnels last January 17-18, 2015 while the HJ Cebu Cool Riders Club conducted a 4-day Christmas Carolling Ride last December 2014 to generate funds for their future events.

Moreover, the clubs are also involved in several community-extension projects especially during the earthquake and Yolanda typhoon outbreak. HOC de Bohol gave relief goods to areas in Bohol that were badly affected by the Typhoon.


HJ Cebu Cool Riders has also conducted several outreach programs like distribution of office and school supplies to Dakit Elementary School in Bogo, Cebu and Hagnaya Elementary School in San Remigio, Cebu and feeding program in Mandaue City, Cebu.
